Deepti Agarwal ACA
Founder & Managing Director
Deepti is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales (ICAEW). She has been helping small businesses since she founded the company in 2009. Prior to starting the company, Deepti worked at KPMG, where she gave advice and audited the accounts of many multinational companies like Pepsico, John Deere, etc. Deepti now uses all her experience to help small and medium size businesses with their accounts and taxes, as well as regularly advising them as a business partner to help them grow and improve their
Deepti is a vegetarian and outside work enjoys cooking, spending time with her young daughter and is a keen rower.
Matthew is a law graduate and a father and is currently studying a ATT(Association of Taxation Technician), to complement his interest in finance and politics that was developed during a period of study in Australia. His responsibilities include payroll, self-assessment and communicating with HMRC on behalf of clients.
Sammy has a passion for mathematics and problems solving, dividing his time between employment at Watermill Accounting and study towards his ACA to become a Chartered Accountant. Outside work he has a keen and competitive interest in pool, playing in local leagues and tournaments, cycling and fundraising for Addenbroke’s Hospital.
Accounts, Administration and Client Engagement
Graham joined Watermill Accounting in April 2016 after successfully completing an HND Business course at Cambridge Regional College. Graham’s responsibilities cover Office Administration and being the first point of contact in Watermill. He draws upon the experience of sales and customer service from employment with Coca-Cola Enterprises, IKEA and MasterCard. Outside work, he likes a good documentary and battling his very sweet tooth.
Sam has experience in developing and delivering large, multi-agency European project bids as well as working with start-ups and SMEs to develop grant finding and funding strategies and projects. Sam has supported a range of organisations in raising millions of pounds in grants, public sector and European funding.
Anurag is an academic at Cambridge Univeristy Engineering Department, a Fellow of Emmanuel College and the Director of Cambridge Aeroacoustics Limited. He holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering (he is a rocket scientist!) and has more than ten years of research experience in the Aerospace industry having worked in collaboration with Rolls-Royce, Boeing and General Electric. He is also working on the R&D of domestic appliances (through close links with Dyson) and bio-medical instruments.
Jasmine is a former engineering and mathematics teacher who has successfully completed the ACCA Advanced Diploma in Business and Accounting. Prior to joining Watermill Accounting, Jasmine trained at Aston Shaw, one of Norwich’s top accountancy firm. Outside work, Jasmine is an avid foodie who also enjoys baking, travelling and action films.
